Craig Simchuk earns back-to-back SPHL Coach of the Year honors
Updated: Apr 23, 2024
The SPHL announced that Craig Simchuk of the Birmingham Bulls has been selected as the SPHL Coach of the Year in a vote of league coaches, staff and broadcasters.
Fayetteville’s Ryan Cruthers, Quad City’s Dave Pszenyzny and Roanoke’s Dan Bremner finished tied for second in the balloting.
Simchuk led Birmingham to the William B. Coffey Trophy as regular season champions with a franchise- record 38-9-9 record, while their 85 points are third-most in league history.
Now in his fourth season behind the Bulls’ bench, Simchuk joins Jean-Guy Trudel and Kevin Kerr as the only coaches in SPHL history to win the award multiple times.

Back-to-back Coach of the Year honors are a notable achievement, especially alongside a franchise-record regular-season performance. The 38-9-9 record and 85 points really show how strong Birmingham’s season was. I came across Quenq GTA browser game while taking a break from reading different sports and entertainment updates.
Thanks for sharing such an informative article. I enjoyed the way the main points were explained and organized throughout the post. While looking into related topics, I noticed joya 9 as another relevant search term. Researching different platforms can help readers become more familiar with their features and available activities.
Back-to-back Coach of the Year is no joke, and that 38-9-9 record speaks for itself. What stands out to me is that only Trudel and Kerr had done it before, so Simchuk's in pretty rare company now. Speaking of things that get a second life, I've messed around with making a low quality image version of team photos just for the meme value, and honestly the older arena shots already have that vibe. Curious to see if Birmingham can carry this momentum into another deep run next season.
I liked the point about keeping online tools simple. While looking for a way to sketch out a Pokémon team before committing to it, I came across MonTeams, and the straightforward layout made sense to me.
